Planning, Design and Pre-Sales Service.

Technical staff at ID Staircases are available for providing quotations from prepared drawings. Alternatively for a charge it is possible for us to take measures directly on site where the staircase will be installed. ID Staircases then co-ordinate with the technical staff at the production facility who will prepare technical drawings of your STARK spiral staircase taking into account important project requirements and various building regulations. Designs can also be produced in three dimensions to help with visualisation of your new STARK spiral staircase.

 

Personalisation - The STARK spiral staircase system offers the opportunity to personalise your staircase both by selection of finishes and by choosing different balustrade or tread pattern detail.

 

Steel -  Supplied in laser cut Stainles Steel select from satin or Hi Gloss.

 

The treads of your staircase are made from laser cut Stainless Steel and can be shaped in traditional triangular format or petal shaped design. Holes can be cut into the steel to create a destinctive design or to produce a non slip surface.

 

Balustrade is constructed using solid 10 mm stainless steel bar (described as wires) for strength. 8 wires make up the space between treads and the handrail of 40mm stainless steel tube. Curved glass or plexiglass panels can replace the steel wires. Landing balustrade can be supplied to match in all cases.

  

Building Regulations - There are a number of adjustments that can be made to your staircase to allow for building regulations where necessary which might include riser bars on the back of the treads. These can be supplied with the staircase or fit retrospectively. Full advice on all aspects of building regulations is supplied during the design stage.

 

Note; The STARK spiral staircase can be designed and constructed to comply with all UK building regulations and satisfy all british standards categories for both domestic and commercial staircases. The responsibilty for adherance to building regulation lies with the customer and not ID Staircases therefore we strongly recommend that you submit all plans to building control in your area for approval.

 

Circular Formers can be supplied by ID Staircases to ensure not only a perfectly circlular ceiling opening but with sufficient strength to anchor the staircase securely at the landing level.
