ID Staircase Balustrade Options.

Starcase balustrade designs both to staircases and landings to compliment your modern design staircase from the ID range staircases.

 

Each balustrade option is given a code in our staircase quotations.

The sequence is always;

1. Type of newel
2. Material of Handrail
3. Material of Newel
4. Material of Infill

Each letter or number in the sequence corresponds to a style or type of material used as follows;

• G - Round Newel
• L - Flat Newel
• V - Glass
• 5 - Stainless Steel
• 7 - Powder Coated or Painted Steel
• 9 - Wood
• P - Perspex Panels in addition to wires

Example - Balustrade type G775;

1. G round newels
2. 7 steel handrail
3. 7 steel newels
4. 5 stainless steel wires

Building Regulations - There are a number of adjustments that can be made to your staircase balustrade to allow for the UK building regulations where necessary. Full advice on all aspects of building regulations is supplied during the design stage. 

 

Note; All ID staircase bulustrades can be designed and constructed to comply with all UK building regulations for both domestic and commercial staircases. The responsibilty for adherance to building regulation lies with the customer and not ID Staircases therefore we strongly recommend that you submit all plans to building control in your area for approval.
