GALAXY LCX SPIRAL STAIRCASE

 

The GALAXY LCX Spiral Staircase is a variation on the model GALAXY. Usually in Stainless Steel metalwork the difference being the use of vertical spindles rather that using the solid bar (wire) system.  Suitable for domestic staircases but also can be used for commercial staircases in diameters up to 2000mm

 

The GALAXY LCX spiral staircase can be built using a selection of hard woods for the treads and handrail. Glass or Perspex can also be used for treads. 

 

Personalisation - The GALAXY LCX spiral staircase system is built to order. You can personalise your staircase both by selection of materials and also by choosing glass or perspex panels for balustrade.

 

Centre Column -  The sleeves used for the centre column can be in stainless steel or alternatively in hardwood to match the treads.

 

Treads  can be stained Beech or select from a range of hardwoods to provide additional quality and character with natural tones and grain patterns. 

 

Balustrade is constructed using an amazingly sculptered , curved handrail of 50mm hardwood. Spindles are 15mm Stainless steel. Curved glass or plexiglass panels can be used as an alternative. Landing balustrade match in all cases.

 

The Galaxy LCX is a very easy staircase to make so that it passes building regulations. Riser bars can be fitted to the back of the treads to ensure no gap greater than 10cm (domestic applications) Full advice on all aspects of UK building regulations will be supplied during the design stage.

 

Note; The GALAXY spiral staircase can be designed and constructed to comply with all UK building regulations and satisfy all british standards categories for both domestic and commercial staircases. The responsibilty for adherance to building regulation lies with the customer and not ID Staircases therefore we strongly recommend that you submit all plans to building control in your area for approval.

 

Circular Formers can be supplied by ID Staircases to ensure not only a perfectly circlular ceiling opening but with sufficient strength to anchor the staircase securely at the landing level.
