Planning, Design and Pre-Sales Service.

Technical staff at ID Staircases are available for providing quotations from prepared drawings. Alternatively for a charge it is possible for us to take measures directly on site where the staircase will be installed. ID Staircases then co-ordinate with the technical staff at the production facility who will prepare technical drawings of your MALDIVE spiral staircase taking into account important project requirements and various building regulations. Designs can also be produced in three dimensions to help with visualisation of your new MALDIVE spiral staircase.

 

Personalisation - The MALDIVE spiral staircase system offers the opportunity to personalise your staircase both by selection of finishes and by choosing different balustrade or tread pattern detail.

 

Steel -  Powder Coated to a range of colours .

 

The treads of your staircase are made from engineered Beech as standard and can be stained in a range of colours (see ID Swatch). Also real Oak or Walnut can bring an added quality and character with natural tones and grain patterns. Treads can be shapes in the petal design shown in the pictures (select picture 9) Treads can also be produced in glass (see ID model Eclipse)

 

Balustrade is constructed using powder coated steelvertical spindles. Landing balustrade can be supplied to match in all cases.

Building Regulations - There are a number of adjustments that can be made to your staircase to allow for building regulations where necessary which might include riser bars on the back of the treads. These can be supplied with the staircase or fit retrospectively. Full advice on all aspects of building regulations is supplied during the design stage.

 

Note; The MALDIVE spiral staircase can be designed and constructed to comply with all UK building regulations and satisfy all british standards categories for both domestic and commercial staircases. The responsibilty for adherance to building regulation lies with the customer and not ID Staircases therefore we strongly recommend that you submit all plans to building control in your area for approval.

 

Circular Formers can be supplied by ID Staircases to ensure not only a perfectly circlular ceiling opening but with sufficient strength to anchor the staircase securely at the landing level.
