Building on the founders' 40 years experience in the staircase manufacturing industry our Essegi Stairs have been supplying the very best of contemporary 'Italian design' staircases both to Italy and for export around the world since 1995. They have maintained a 'craftsman' ethos whilst embracing the latest technological advances enabling them, through innovation, to satisfy the diverse requirements of our customers and to offer an exciting range of standard models and bespoke staircases for both domestic and commercial applications.

 

Your Marco Polo staircase is manufactured using the highest quality materials including, stainless steel, wood, glass and plastics. Utilising laser cutting and CNC machines in order to obtain the perfect shapes and high quality finish for your design.

 

Planning, Design and Pre-Sales Service.

Technical staff at ID Staircases are available for providing quotations from prepared drawings. Alternatively for a charge it is possible for us to take measures directly on site where the staircase will be installed. ID Staircases then co-ordinate with the technical staff at the production facility who will prepare technical drawings of your Atlante in-line staircase taking into account important project requirements and various building regulations. Designs can also be produced in three dimensions to help with visualisation of your new Marco Polo staircase.

 

Building Regulations - There are a number of adjustments that can be made to your staircase to allow for building regulations where necessary which might include riser bars on the back of the treads and 2mm plexiglass panels to the wires. These can be supplied with the staircase or fit retrospectively. Full advice on all aspects of building regulations is supplied during the design stage.

 

Note; The Marco Polo staircase can be designed and constructed to comply with all UK building regulations for both domestic and commercial staircases. The responsibilty for adherance to building regulation lies with the customer and not ID Staircases therefore we strongly recommend that you submit all plans to building control in your area for approval.
